I retired on April 3rd 2009 and we are looking forward to traveling and spending time with our family and friends. I went back to work part time in July 2009 and now work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, sweet deal. I still have more time to spend with my family and my Amateur Radio Hobby. I have been a Amateur Radio Operator since I was 16 years old. First Licensed as WN2GLI in Edison, NJ in 1963 and then upgraded to Tech and then General, WB2GLI. I upgraded to Advanced in 1968, just prior to my trip to SE ASIA with the USAF. We moved to Fort Lauderdale,FL in 1975 and received the call sign WA4ETN. In 1981 we moved to Georgia and upgraded to EXTRA in 1982. I changed my call to W4ETN in February 1999. I am a VE with ARRL, W5YI & CAVEC. I love to DX and have 346 countries worked and confirmed. (#1 Honor Roll). The Station in the photo is an FT-1000 and AL-82 AMP. There is also a PK-232MBX, I use for the digital modes with the Lap Top PC. My antenna's are the PRO-57B on a 50 foot crank up tilt over tower and slopers for 160,80 and 40 meters. I also run HF moble with a IC-706MKIIG and Ham Stick antenna's. On June 18th, 2005 I have added a 3 element 6 meter beam and an IC-706MKIIG station for 6 meters. Hope to see you there!
